The Santa Barbara Ventura Veterinary Medical Association (SBVVMA) is a professional association made up of veterinarians dedicated to the advancement of animal health.

The Purpose of the SBVVMA

The association provides a source of local continuing education and acts as a point of contact for the general public on issues of ethics and other matters relating to the profession of veterinary medicine.

For Veterinary members, this site provides a method to communicate about upcoming meetings, share news, and post job opportunities in the region.

How the SBVVMA can Help

Continuing Education

The SBVVMA offers California approved CE to ensure that our members have up-to-date information through which to serve their patients and clients. Lectures cover medical, diagnostic and business topics. Monthly meetings are held in Ventura in a professional/dinner setting.

Collaboration

The SBVVMA represents numerous veterinary hospitals. Come interact with professionals/specialists in: general practice, emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, dermatology, ophthalmology and holistic/alternative medicine.
