Resistant pyodermas: They're gaining on us!

Methicillin and multidrug resistant skin infections have gone from being an occaisional issues to being a daily nightmare. The purpose of this lecture is to provide strategies to treat and prevent this problem.

Jean Swingle Greek graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin's School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Tennessee and a residency in veterinary dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania. After passing her boards, she was head of the dermatology department at Veterinary Specialists of Kansas City, which was at that time the largest referral veterinary practice in the Midwest. She also served as a consultant at the University of Missouri's School of Veterinary Medicine, where she taught senior students, interns and residents. She has been at her own private dermatology practice in Santa Barbara since 2000. She also sees patients in Ventura every Friday.

This meeting will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Pierpont Inn in Ventura. Please sign up by Tuesday noon, Mar 6, 2018 to get the meal option of your choice. Signups after Tuesday will not be taken online.
