The meeting is sponsored by Rx Vitamins for Pets and will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017. This April Meeting is a special membership promotion therefore member Veterinarians are allowed and encouraged to invite their veterinarian colleagues at no cost to the non-member veterinarians and with no obligation to become members. 1. Learn about the effects of cannabis on your patients and how to advise clients regarding the avoidance of adverse effects.
2. Understand legal and regulatory issues, realizing that veterinarians cannot dispense or prescribe cannabis, based on existing federal laws.
3. Guide veterinarians regarding advice offered to clients in California.
